Pitching Counter / Stats Tracker is an Android-based application developed by Supco Software Solutions LLC. It is a free app that enables you to track every pitch of a baseball or softball game by each pitcher. The app is designed to track the performance of a pitcher over a game or a season, and it calculates 41 different pitching statistics using the tracked data.
The app calculates batters based on pitch outcomes, and innings are based on outs. Unlike other apps that only track what you put in, this app tracks much more, providing you with better insight into how your pitchers are doing. For instance, 4 balls to the same batter result in a walk, and 3 strikes to the same batter result in a strikeout (assuming the 3rd wasn't a foul ball). The app tracks all that!
In addition to tracking balls, strikes, and fouls, several special plays can also be tracked, including wild pitches, balks, and hit batters. The app can be used for softball as well. Email summaries can be sent at the end of each inning, and 41 different statistics are generated using the tracked data. The app also allows you to compare all of your pitchers, and you can sort several stats fields that are displayed.
